About Us

New Leaf traces its roots back to 1981 through predecessor companies that include Duncan-Nevison, Oak Associates, and Project Solutions. Officers of New Leaf’s predecessors wrote the Project Management Institute’s original Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide).

New Leaf Programs include: 5 Sigma© Project Management, Constructive Project Negotiation, Managing Risk and Making Decisions, Computer Tools and Project Management, Leading Project Teams, Managing the Project’s Organizational Change, and PMP® Exam Prep. We award a Certificate in Project Management for an extensive 8-course, 17-day program in project management. The Certificate Program can be customized to a client’s needs.

New Leaf has allied itself with higher-education partners to offer public versions of its programs. Boston University, Bentley University, and Babson College have all collaborated with New Leaf leaders to create a sequence of programs leading to a Certificate in Project Management. New Leaf programs have been facilitated at Harvard University, MIT, Dartmouth College, and Cal Tech. Corporate clients include Allied Signal/Honeywell, Millipore, Teradyne, EMC2, Blue Cross, Analog Devices, Raytheon, and State Street Corporation.

In addition to training, we help clients improve their project management practice by: assessing project managers with our proprietary Project Manager Competency Model©, improving the Project Management Office (PMO), recommending appropriate computer tools, and coaching teams towards integrated performance and higher productivity.
